Warranty

Bar-Bar-A Horse & Livestock Drinkers carry a 5 year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials on the outer housing of the system as well as the aluminum paddle. Warranty begins from the date of invoice and carries a 20% per year prorated calculation of value. Interior parts carry a 2 year warranty. This warranty does not pertain to units damaged in anyway after they are in possession of the buyer. Warranty is also excluded in installation errors or repairs or alterations made that do not include parts procured from Bar-Bar-A or procedures set forth by the company.  Issues related to stall bedding such as wood shavings or other material conducive to restriction of water flow and valve malfunction are not covered in this warranty. The manufacturer does not warranty any animals unsuccessful usage of the product or damage caused by animals to any part of the unit.  In addition, the manufacturer  does not guarantee units from the effects of freezing.  The reason for this is that the manufacturer cannot supervise every installation to make sure the installation is done according to specifications or the variables with soil conditions or placement of unit. Undamaged new units may be returned within a 30 day window for full refund of the product price only, less shipping to the customer’s location and return shipping back to the manufacturer if the company pays for shipping back to our facility. Advertised free shipping pertains to customers who keep the products and not customers who return units for refund for any reason. Parts that are defective or need to be replaced or sent back for repair will follow the Bar-Bar-A warranty protocol and must be initiated by contacting Bar-Bar-A by phone (800-451-2230) or email (support@horsedrinker.com). All warranties are for parts and unit applications only. Damage caused by water or installation issues are the buyers responsibility.  Units must be in the ground and not removed or warranty is voided.  Contact us and we will lead you through the warranty process.
