95% of animals learn how the drinker works on their own. Natural curiosity and nuzzling the drinker paddle turns on the water. Once they taste the water, they know where to go.
Occasionally you may need to teach an animal how to drink. Just remove all other water sources until the animal becomes thirsty. Then, lead the animal to the drinker and push down on the paddle. Once the animal smells the water, it will know what to do!
We have never had an animal reported that has not learned to use the Drinker. |
